Omnitracs Technical Support

Omnitracs offers customer technical support that is unmatched in the industry. Our award-winning customer support services are available 24 hours daily, 365 days a year, and assure timely response to any issues and effective coordination of timely resolution.

There are several levels of support with different abilities to streamline remote diagnostics of both hardware and software problems.

First level of support is featured

via Omnitracs’ Technical Support Hotline -
manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Tools enable this staff to monitor a mobile terminal’s general behavior over the air in close to real time.
Additionally, this group is familiar with all of Omnitracs products and trained in any commonly encountered problems and their resolution.

Second level support is provided by Field Engineering for hardware-related issues, and the Engineering Technical Support (ETS) group is available for resolving software problems. These two groups dive in when a problem exceeds the Hotline group’s ability to resolve an issue. ETS’ remote access capability enables it to remotely troubleshoot software issues.

Third level support is provided by the Omnitracs Engineering and Product Development organization. Engineering analyzes data collected from a mobile terminal to isolate problems before a customer is aware that there may be an issue. Engineering tools monitor performance of the system specifically for systemic or network-related problems. Engineering also monitors and resolves any cellular carrier-related issues
